Programs That We Offer to Support Our Community

The Dementia Care and Cure Initiative (DCCI) engages communities across Florida to be more dementia caring, promote better care for Floridians affected by dementia, and support research efforts to find a cure. Being a dementia-caring community means there are services and supports in place to make that community hospitable to someone living with dementia, their caregivers, families, and loved ones. DOEA wants those living with dementia to still play a vital role within their communities – with each interaction they have while out will be a positive one, created out of respect and understanding. Suncoast Aging Network provides funding to support Seniors with Electronic Caregiver systems to help keep them safe and at home. With the combination of Chronic Care Management and Remote Patient Monitoring with 24/7 Emergency Response, Electronic Caregiver is able to increase engagement, early-identify health anomalies and declines, expedite informed response, and enable personalized care.

CRC is a local resource program that makes a BIG difference in the lives of low-income Seniors, however we possibly can. We are a group of Senior networking professionals that raises and gives back funds for individual Seniors in need. We do this by holding once a month meetings and through other fundraising efforts. All funds are paid to service providers through the Suncoast Aging Network, a 501c3, and not the actual applicant. 

This program focuses on providing low-income Seniors with hygiene necessities during the holiday season. 

Through our continued efforts to raise funds to give back to the Seniors in our community, we hold several fundraising events throughout the year. 

We have provided funding for both individuals and business's who have suffered from emergency disasters and/or situations. Contact us if you are in need.
